Position Overview

The Executive Director serves as the overall head of an international school, responsible for providing strategic, operational, and spiritual leadership. This role oversees the schools daily operations, leads its principals and management team, and serves as the schools ambassador to the community.

While prior experience in education is an advantage, the position is also open to senior leaders from service industries, FMCG, or other reputable organizations who are willing to transition into the educational sector.

Key Responsibilities

The Executive Director ensures that the schools mission, vision, and identity are upheld while driving its overall success. He/she will:

  • Providing leadership across academics, operations, finance, and community development.
  • Guiding principals, teachers, and staff toward academic excellence and student development.
  • Leading strategic planning, financial sustainability, and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Building and managing a strong leadership team aligned with the schools mission.
  • Strengthening relationships with parents, stakeholders, and the Board through clear communication and engagement.
  • Driving enrollment growth, financial stability, and parent satisfaction.
  • Overseeing programs, budgets, communications, facilities, HR, IT, and accreditation.
  • Promoting the schools reputation and securing community support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required; postgraduate studies (Masters/Doctorate), preferably abroad, strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years in a senior management role in education or other reputable industries such as service, FMCG, or multinational corporate sector.
  • Proven leadership experience in organizational management, stakeholder engagement, financial oversight, and crisis leadership.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • International exposure or work experience highly desirable.
  • Open to foreigners already based in the Philippines.
