Job Description:
The Restaurant Marketing Officer is responsible for implementing marketing initiatives to boost brand visibility, attract customers, and drive sales. This role involves executing digital and offline marketing campaigns, coordinating events, and maintaining the restaurant's presence across social media and other platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Campaign Execution:
Implement promotional campaigns, including seasonal offers, special events, and menu launches.
Ensure consistent branding across all marketing materials.
Digital Marketing:
Manage the restaurant's social media accounts by creating and scheduling engaging posts.
Assist with creating and maintaining the restaurant's website, ensuring content is up-to-date.
Support email marketing efforts, including newsletters and promotions.
Customer Engagement:
Interact with customers online through social media and respond to inquiries or reviews.
Coordinate loyalty programs and customer feedback initiatives to enhance satisfaction.
Event Coordination:
Assist in planning and promoting events such as tastings, live music nights, or themed nights.
Work with internal teams to ensure successful execution of events.
Market Research & Analytics:
Conduct research on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies.
Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and recommend improvements.
Partnerships & Collaboration:
Build relationships with local businesses, influencers, and media outlets to increase brand exposure.
Collaborate with the kitchen and operations teams to align marketing with menu offerings.
Administrative Support:
Monitor marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective spending.
Maintain records of campaigns, customer data, and marketing performance metrics.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or food service industry.
Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and tools.
Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and basic video editing.
Knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and digital advertising techniques.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical skills to assess campaign performance and customer data.
