POSITION: SALES STAFF

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FULL-TIME (from Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 A.M. - 6:36 P.M.)

LOCATION: 210 SPEAKER PEREZ ST. BARANGAY MAHARLIKA, QUEZON CITY

SALARY: ₱ 17, with ₱ 2,000.00 transportation allowance & commissions)

JOB SUMMARY:

This position reports to the Sales Manager and Sales Officers. This role heavily relies on sourcing and bidding for products and/or services to government agencies using the government platform. These products and/or services are outsourced through online platforms, physical stores, and local suppliers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Finding government bidding opportunities on Philgeps website.

  • Sourcing different products locally (Shopee, Lazada, etc) or internationally (Alibaba, Amazon).

  • Quoting products at an average profit margin.

  • Enlisting, costing, and linking products with the use of spreadsheets.

  • Reviewing government contracts and specifications of procurements.

  • Tracking quotations, purchase orders, and awards.

  • Organizing and filing company documents.

  • Replying to and checking procurement emails.

  • Contacting suppliers and transporters to check stocks and inventory.

  • Communicating with team members and the head of sales.

  • Perform fieldwork to attend pre-bid meetings, bid openings, and ocular inspections.

  • Handle concerns regarding own purchase orders

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a graduate with a bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing Management, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or equivalent.

  • Must have above-average communication skills in both English and Tagalog languages.

  • Must know how to use Google Sheets and Adobe applications.

  • Knowledgeable in composing emails.

  • Must know about ordering/purchasing products on online platforms.

  • Must be willing to do fieldwork from short and long travel distances. (If needed)

  • Preferably have at least 1 year of experience in PhilGEPS.

  • Preferably have experience in government bidding and oculars
