This is a technical role in an MSP environment responsible for managing Azure public cloud, Azure Local (formerly Azure Stack HCI), and VMware clustered infrastructure across multiple client tenants in a datacenter environment.

Technical Responsibilities

Azure (Public & Hybrid)

Infrastructure: Deploy and manage Azure virtual machines, virtual networks (vNets), subnets, and network security groups (NSGs).

Storage: Configure and maintain Azure Files, blob storage, and general storage accounts.

Governance: Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, maintain an understanding of regional availability and latency with Azure availability zones.

Azure Local: Support and maintain Azure Local (Stack HCI) clustered deployments for hybrid/on-premises cloud workloads.

Virtual Desktops: Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

Entra ID & Microsoft 365

Identity: Manage user identities, group memberships, and device registration (Entra join, hybrid join, and standard domain join).

Security: Implement and audit standard conditional access policies for MFA and zero-trust configurations (IP/device lockdowns).

Endpoint Management: Configure Intune for Windows enrollment (Autopilot), application deployment, and compliance/configuration policies.

VMware vSphere

Management: Administer clustered environments using vCenter. Monitor cluster health, HA, etc.

Maintenance: Perform ESXi host patching, hardware firmware updates, and datastore management.

Operations: Handle VM provisioning, snapshots, and resource allocation across hosts.

Technical Requirements

Experience: 3+ years in a systems administration or MSP role.

Virtualization: Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, Azure public cloud, Azure Local (Stack HCI).

Networking: Fundamental understanding of VLANs, routing, and VPNs (site-to-site and client VPNs).

Hardware: Familiarity with datacenter rack-mount server hardware and shared storage technologies.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • AZ-104 (Azure Administrator)
  • MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert)
  • VCP (VMware Certified Professional).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php80,000.00 per month
