A. Implements the technical programs of SMFI in all contract growing farms within his area of responsibility.

1. Instruct farm personnel on proper husbandry, animal health and record keeping procedures as described in the Broiler Raising Manual through periodic seminars and hands-on demonstration.

2. Audits implementation of procedures.

3. Evaluate the result of implementation of procedures based on resulting production efficiencies and other qualitative parameters and prepares post harvest analysis as needed.

4. Feed back result of evaluation to the respective Area Operations Manager, Animal Health Specialist or Nutritionist for purposes of reviewing overall technical programs.

5. Develop/design programs for individual farms or group of farms based on specific requirements in consultation with respective Supervisor and Animal Health Specialist

B. Directs the activities of contract growing farms to deliver target results.


1. Evaluates readiness of farms for loading regarding biosecurity, facility set up and manpower complement.

2. Plans chick loading schedule of farms within his area and determine chick loading volume per farm based on evaluation of equipment complement and forecasted climatic condition.

3. Plans harvesting of grown broilers based on available volume and average liveweight determined through proper assessment of flock uniformity, random sampling, and accurate weight projection.  

4. Projects farm efficiencies such as harvest recovery, feed conversion, average live weight and age of harvest based on monitoring of data on feed consumption, mortality, and average daily gain.

5. Plans deliveries and retrievals of feeds based on regular farm inventories and rate of feed consumption.

6. Conducts regular genset audit in farm facilities.

C. Maintains good working relationship with business partners.


1. Discusses company policies and guidelines with contract growers.

2. Addresses growers' concerns related to farm operations.

3. Provides feedback to superiors regarding relevant grower concerns.  

D. Effectively manages company resources.
