About the role

As a Purchasing Specialist at Xymbolic IT Solutions Provider Corporation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services to support the company's operations. This full-time position is based in Olongapo City Zambales, where you will work closely with various departments to identify purchasing needs, negotiate contracts, and optimise supply chain processes.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements and develop strategic sourcing plans
  2. Investigate and evaluate suppliers, negotiating favourable contract terms and pricing
  3. Manage the procurement process, including order placement, tracking, and expediting deliveries
  4. Maintain accurate inventory records and implement effective stock control procedures
  5. Analyse purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal/regulatory requirements
  7. Provide training and support to other team members on purchasing best practices

  1. Proven experience as a Purchasing Specialist or similar role in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
  2. Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills with a focus on cost optimisation
  3. Strong analytical and data management capabilities, with the ability to interpret and act on purchasing trends
