Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain pollution control programs to minimize environmental impact from manufacturing processes, wastewater discharge, air emissions, and waste management.
  • Conduct regular environmental audits, assessments, and inspections to identify potential risks, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., LLDA, DENR, local environmental regulations), and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor environmental performance indicators, such as air quality, water usage, waste generation, and energy consumption, to identify opportunities for improvement and sustainability initiatives.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and internal departments on environmental permitting, reporting, and compliance issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field. Professional certifications are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 1 year of progressive experience in environmental management, pollution control, or related roles within the beverage manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of applying environmental regulations (e.g., air quality, water quality, hazardous waste management) and health standards in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical proficiency in pollution control technologies, environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001), and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Analytical mindset with advanced problem-solving capabilities to assess risks, develop innovative solutions, and implement preventive measures effectively.
