Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a gaming and sport entertainment company. Our client is looking for a Deputy Legal Director who will oversee the organization's legal operations, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, manage legal risk, and provide strategic legal guidance. This role reports to the Legal Director and is based in Taguig City.

Tasks and Responsibilities:Provide expert legal advice to senior leadership on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters. Assist in developing and implementing legal strategies that support organizational goals. Develop and implement compliance programs aligned with PAGCOR, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, and other applicable Philippine laws.

Ensure full compliance with the Data Privacy Act, maintaining data protection standards. Review, draft, and negotiate complex contracts, agreements, and legal documents. Lead or oversee litigation and dispute resolution, collaborating with external counsel as needed.

Monitor legal risks in corporate governance, business operations, and compliance; recommend proactive measures. Support corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships. Manage internal legal staff, delegate tasks, and provide mentorship and development support.

Ensure timely compliance with local, national, and international laws, especially in regulated industries. Participate in board and executive meetings to provide legal insights on key initiatives. Job Requirements:Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and membership in the Philippine Bar.

Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the Hotel & Casino and iGaming industries. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.

Excellent management, presentation, interpersonal skills, and goal-oriented attitude. Resilient physically and emotionally, capable of performing under pressure in fast-paced environments. Flexible and resourceful in challenging and changing situations.
