We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Crewing Specialist to join our dynamic maritime operations team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient management and deployment of our maritime personnel, ensuring that our vessels are staffed with qualified and competent crew members. This position demands a deep understanding of maritime regulations, crew management protocols, and the ability to coordinate schedules and logistics for various vessels. The Crewing Specialist will work closely with ship owners, crew members, and recruitment agencies to maintain a high standard of crew quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in crewing, a solid understanding of international maritime laws, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks related to crew documentation and certification management. The ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment is essential, as this role will involve liaising with crew from various nationalities. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process for maritime crew members.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and crew certification requirements.
  • Manage crew scheduling and deployment for various vessels.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for crew members.
  • Maintain accurate records of crew documentation, certifications, and training.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for crew members regarding employment and contract inquiries.
  • Collaborate with vessel management to ensure crew needs are met in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in maritime studies, human resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in crewing or maritime personnel management.
  • In-depth knowledge of maritime regulations and crew certification processes.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage various operational tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Proficient in using crew management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php45,000.00 per month
