Duties and Responsibilities

1.Demonstrating Exercises and Routines to Clients

Personal Trainers are responsible to assist members during their workout. They must

have the initiative to offer help and make sure that all the members and guests are well

informed about their exercise program.

2.Assisting Clients in Exercises to Minimize Injury and Promote Fitness

Personal Trainers must have the ability to demonstrate correct exercise form and

execution to ensure member's safety. Personal trainer must have the knowledge to

recommend or restrict exercise type when needed.

3.Modify Exercises According to Clients' Fitness Levels

Personal Trainers must conduct and follow Surge Fitness Gym Corp. Member

AssessmentSystembeforeprescribingexerciseprogramtodeterminesvaryingmembers'

fitnesslevel.

4.MonitorClientProgress

PersonalTrainersmustconductandfollowSurgeFitnessGymCorp.Member retention

program(SYSTEM)tomonitormembers' fitnessprogress.

  1. ProvidingEmergencyFirstAidifnecessary

PersonalTrainersareresponsibleandmustbeknowledgeableonhowtoapplyfirstand

basiclifesupportwhenneeded.

6.ClubMaintenance

Personal trainersareresponsibletoensurethecleanlinessandsafetyoftheclub.They

must check if the equipment are all in good condition, the club is free of hazards that will

compromise safety and make sure everything is in order.

7.Sales and Promotion


• Promote and sell personal training programs and services


• Promote all Surge Fitness Gym Corp.,services and products


• Meeting and exceeding all Sales Target


• Developandmaintaincurrentclientsbyprovidingexceptionalserviceand

showcasingprofessionalism

8.AdministrativeWorkandReporting

PersonalTrainer reportsdirectlytotheClubManager.Salesandconductionreportmust

beupdatedandmustbesubmitteddaily.Personal trainersarealsorequiredtoassist in

membershipsalespresentationandreceptionworkwhenneeded.

ReportingandAdministrativeTasksincludebutarenot limitedto:


• Effectivemanagementofmember informationandprogressrecords


• Weekly,MonthlysubmissiontoClubManagerof individualMember

Conductions,MonthlySalesandPTDailyProductivityReport


• Managementandsubmissionof individualPTTrackerandMemberPT

AssessmentandReassessmentReports


• SendingofdailyupdatesofPTActivitythroughofficialcompanychannelssuch

as Viber groups, Google Documents ,etc.


• Accomplish Club Incident Reports as means of recording irregular occurrences in

the club including accidents, conflicts and other similar matters


• Managing and handling sales transactions including but not limited to credit

card, cash sales.

9.EvaluationandReporting

PersonalTrainersarerequiredtoreporttheirsalesandconductiondaily.Theywillbe

evaluatedtwiceduringtheirprobationaryperiod.Firstevaluationisscheduledontheir3rd

monthandsecondevaluationisscheduledontheir5thmonth.

Job Criteria

  1. Must be a fitness enthusiast and willing to teach and help other people with their

fitness goal.

  1. Must have a good working attitude and can easily adapt to different working

environment.

  1. Extrovert and has good communication skills.

  2. Basic knowledge on reporting and office work.

  3. Individuals who want to start a career as personal trainer are welcome to apply

and join the team.

  1. Graduate of any Fitness and Sports related courses or certification is an advantage.
