About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position, with the opportunity to work remotely. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy and our company accounts alongside owning operational excellence in our practice.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and maintain a comprehensive system of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Prepare and process invoices, reconcile bank statements, and ensure timely payments
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and best practices
  • Provide support to the senior management team by furnishing accurate and up-to-date financial information
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's financial processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a similar UK-based environment
  • Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting standards
