Position Overview:

Seeking IT Governance & Security Analyst to take ownership of our governance and security program design, implementation, and evolution. In this hands-on leadership role, you will establish and scale security frameworks, risk management processes, policy enforcement, and privacy initiatives across our fast-growing organization.

This is an ideal opportunity for a security-minded governance professional with experience across SOC 2, IT control design, data classification, security operations, vendor risk management, and policy development—especially someone who thrives in zero-to-one environments and wants to help define "how we do governance."

This is a permanent night shift position.

Key Responsibilities:

Governance Program Development


• Build and own the IT governance and security roadmap in alignment with compliance, business, and operational goals.


• Define, implement, and iterate governance policies across security, data privacy, acceptable use, AI/ML, and business continuity.


• Establish control frameworks mapped to SOC 2, NIST CSF, DSCSA, HIPAA, and GDPR/CCPA where applicable.

Security & Risk Operations


• Oversee access control, identity governance, audit logging, and endpoint protection strategies across Microsoft 365, Azure, NetSuite, Power BI, and custom applications (e.g., Portal v2, EPCIS).


• Manage and evolve the risk register, incident response procedures, and internal control testing processes.


• Collaborate with the SOC 2 analyst to build a sustainable and auditable GRC process.

Cross-Functional Leadership


• Serve as a governance liaison between IT, Legal, HR, and business stakeholders to ensure risk-based decision-making.


• Lead governance enablement activities such as security awareness training, policy rollouts, stakeholder education, and incident response simulations.


• Coach and mentor junior governance or compliance staff and help shape future hires.

Qualifications:

Required:


• 5+ years experience in IT governance, security operations, compliance, or risk management.


• Proven track record of designing and implementing IT governance frameworks.


• Strong working knowledge of SOC 2 controls, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or similar standards.


• Experience working across identity/access management, endpoint security, policy writing, and risk assessments.


• Ability to translate governance objectives into actionable tasks, working closely with both technical and business teams.

Preferred:


• Experience securing environments across Microsoft 365, Azure, NetSuite, or Power BI.


• Experience leading audits or remediation programs (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).


• Understanding of data privacy regulations and AI/ML governance.


• Strong documentation and presentation skills; ability to lead training and executive updates
