DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs General Radiography procedures.
• Operates mobile x-ray equipment in the Operating Room to produce radiograph of outpatient
  
  surgical procedures.
• Assist Diagnostic CSR to receive patients request, appointments, approved LOA's. and
  
  Official Receipt. Validate and check the Doctors request and the tagging of patient's
  
  procedures in bizbox system based on the requested examination of the attending physician.
• Ensures completely and accurately data entry on Control Console and KPACS System.
• Set appropriate technical factors depending on the patients x-ray examination.
• Gathers and endorses data or history of a patient to the Radiologist.
• Gives complete instruction before, during and after a procedure to patients.
• Must be able to closely follow the physician's order, prepare radiography equipment, position
  
  patient, and produce optimal images for diagnosis.
• Taking preventive steps to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation or repeat examination.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance of images before sending the radiographic
  
  images for remote or onsite reading.
• Encode complete list of patient's information and examinations rendered and send it to the
  
  Radiologist for official reading. (Remote or onsite reading)
• Must be able to communicate calmly, compassionately and professionally to all different
  
  types of patients including geriatric and person with disability patients.
• Maintains fixed x-ray, Computed radiography and portable x-ray equipment and supplies.
• Does clerical tasks such as: Encodes daily census, tags, Tag Doctors pf/rf and renders
  
  patient's examination in the Bizbox system. Update record of monthly machine status,
  
  technical error encountered, inventory, purchase, requisition. Maintains patients record for
  
  future reference.
• Cleans and maintains examination rooms, machines and equipment.
• Burns images on the CD and prints reports to be released as patient's copy.
• Sorts, proofread, and files x-ray results.
• Ensure that patient's information is correct before releasing the official result to patient.
• Submit and send Monthly Raw Data/Census, Scorecard and Machine Status.
• Submit Daily LOAs and Transmittal to the Billing.
• Validate Monthly RF transaction send by I.T Personnel for Billing purposes.
• Records Patients Data at the logbook.
• Record any machine problems encountered at the service logbook in compliance with the
  
  QAQC program of the equipment's per DOH-FDA.
