- Patient Interaction
● Assists, registers, and verifies patient information for all imaging procedures (ultrasound, CT scan, and X-ray).
● Explains procedures, reviews patients' medical histories, and ensures that consent is obtained.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance
● Operates ultrasound, CT scan, and radiographic equipment to capture quality diagnostic images.
● Positions and prepares patients for procedures, adjusting equipment settings for optimal results.
● Conducts equipment warm-up, calibration, and safety checks regularly.
● Cleans, maintains, and recommends repair or replacement of defective equipment.
- Image Processing and Reporting
● Sends images to the Radiologist for reading and interpretation.
● Prepares and submits reports while maintaining patient confidentiality.
● Assists Radiologists in interpreting and assessing results where necessary.
- Safety and Health Compliance
● Participates in safety training and adheres to OSH-related protocols.
● Utilizes safety devices and safeguards provided for worker and patient protection.
● Reports any potential work hazards to supervisors.
- Administrative and Miscellaneous Duties
● Monitors inventory and requests replenishment of medical instruments and office supplies.
● Prepares reports on all patients seen, ensuring timely submission and accurate documentation.
● Perform other departmental duties as assigned.
- General Tasks:
● Participate in capacity-building activities, including safety drills and health-related programs.
● Accomplish departmental goals by performing additional duties as required.
