Master Data Management (MDM) Lead

Job Summary

The MDM Lead is responsible for shaping and governing the organization's master data landscape, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment across business functions. This role oversees data quality, migration, and operations, while championing SAP master data best practices. You'll guide teams through structured processes that keep enterprise data dependable and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Master Data Management activities spanning FI, MM, SO, and PM functional areas.
  • Define, enforce, and continuously improve SAP master data standards, governance, and lifecycle processes.
  • Manage ITIL-based operational activities—including incident, problem, and change management—for master data systems.
  • Execute and oversee data migration initiatives using
    LTMOM
    ,
    LTMC
    , and "Migrate Your Data" methodologies.
  • Ensure data quality controls, validation rules, and cleansing activities are properly implemented and maintained.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to resolve complex data challenges and harmonize cross-functional requirements.
  • Maintain documentation, SOPs, and training materials to support consistent data stewardship practices across teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in
    Master Data Management
    , preferably in SAP-driven environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of
    LTMOM
    ,
    LTMC
    , and SAP migration tools.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Master Data in FI, MM, SO, and PM modules.
  • Solid grounding in
    ITIL processes
    (incident, problem, change).
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to lead projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
