Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security technologies deployment and/or operations.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English).
  • Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Solid critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities with a passion for cybersecurity.

  • Strong foundational knowledge in:

  • IP Networking (TCP/IP, routing, etc.)

  • Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, etc.)
Preferred (but not required):
  • ITIL training/certifications (Incident, Change, Configuration, or Problem Management).
  • Experience working on large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience and/or certifications in any of the following security technologies/products:

  • Firewalls: FortiGate, Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco FP

  • Firewall Management: Algosec, Tufin
  • SWG/SASE/CASB/DLP: Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma Access, Netskope, FortiProxy
  • VPN: Cisco ASA, PulseSecure
  • NIPS: Trend Micro Tipping Point
  • EDR: CrowdStrike, MS Defender, Trend Micro VisionOne, SentinelOne, Carbon Black
  • NDR: ExtraHop, Vectra
  • DLP: Forcepoint
  • 2FA: RSA
  • PAM: CyberArk
  • IAM: Okta
  • VA: Tenable, Qualys
  • WAF/DDoS: Akamai, Cloudflare
Job Description
  • Administer and manage customer security platform technologies (e.g., FW/UTM, IDS/IPS, SWG/SEG, VPN GW, EPP/EDR, SASE/CASB, DLP) in alignment with SLAs.
  • Respond to security platform fault incidents, triggered by monitoring alerts or customer escalation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related incidents; create TAC support tickets with the vendor when needed.
  • Perform configuration changes based on customer requests and approvals.
  • Conduct scheduled patching/upgrades during maintenance windows.
  • Prepare Incident Reports (IRs) for high-severity incidents (P1 and P2).
  • Execute routine administrative tasks such as configuration backups and platform housekeeping.
  • Create and update technical documentation related to managed security platforms.
  • Prepare Monthly Service Reports for customers.
  • Attend internal and customer meetings as a representative of the Managed Security Platform (MSP) Team.
  • Follow established policies, processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in shift rotations and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks within SLAs.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide remediation recommendations.
  • Guide and support junior team members in handling technical issues and customer escalations.
