The Clinical Educator, Utilization Management (UM) Academy is responsible for the development and implementation of training strategies, plans and processes to support organizational goals. Individual must be willing to travel to the U.S. for initial role training.

Required:


• Bachelor of Science in Nursing - With active USRN license


• 2+ years of education/training experience, to include instructional design and clinical training delivery is an advantage


• In-patient or emergency hospital-based nursing: 2+ years (required)


• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license


• 3-5 years of experience working in areas focused on utilization management


• Education/training experience, to include instructional design and clinical training delivery


• Knowledgeable in various guidelines, regulations, and accreditations including: NCQA, URAC, CMS, MCG, InterQual, state DOI

Preferred:


• Clinical or call center experience helpful


• CPT/ICD9 coding knowledge helpful


• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbal and written


• Ability to handle confidential information


• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to multi-task and take on duties as assigned


• Demonstrates strong leadership abilities including ability to handle conflict resolution and give constructive feedback.


• Strong presentation and public-speaking abilities


• Excellent Inter-personal skills
