Our client, a dynamic and values-driven media and publishing group is seeking a skilled Senior Management Accountant to join its finance team. This role supports financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance across multiple business units. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced, creative environment.

This role will report to an Australian client - Finance General Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare monthly management reports, forecasts, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and statutory reporting (BAS/IAS)
  • Liaise with auditors and manage audit queries
  • Partner with commercial teams to deliver insights and strengthen financial collaboration
  • Recommend improvements in reporting, analysis, and financial processes
  • Support AP/AR supervision and cross-team knowledge sharing

What You'll Bring

  • 4+ years of Australian accounting and tax experience
  • CPA/CA qualified (preferred)
  • Experience across diverse revenue streams (e.g., memberships, events, advertising)
  • Sage Intacct experience (highly desirable); Chargebee and Hubspot familiarity a plus
  • High analytical capability, accuracy focus, and stakeholder confidence
  • Collaborative, commercially minded, and resilient under pressure
