Job Description

Job Role:

The Windows 11 Floorwalker will provide expert onsite and/or remote support to end-users during and after the deployment of Windows 11. The goal is to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption and a high level of user satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide post-deployment support to end-users for Windows 11-related issues.
  • Assist users with login, profile migration, application access, printer setup, and general navigation of the new OS.
  • Troubleshoot issues with drivers, hardware compatibility, or missing applications.
  • Deliver just-in-time (JIT) training to end-users for new features and changes in Windows 11.
  • Escalate unresolved technical issues to the appropriate teams in accordance with escalation protocols.
  • Track and document incidents, issues, and resolutions for reporting and trend analysis.
  • Collaborate with the deployment and IT support teams to ensure alignment and quick issue resolution.
  • Ensure all activities comply with client IT security and operational policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar floorwalker or IT support role, preferably in a Windows OS migration context.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11, including features, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, profile migration tools, and common enterprise applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for face-to-face and remote support.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain a user-friendly demeanor.
  • Flexible to work onsite in client environments, including shifting schedules when required.
