Work Setup:

Must be willing to onboard and undergo training in Palawan for the first 3 months. After training, deployment will be at the client's office in Makati City under a hybrid work arrangement, reporting onsite 2 to 3 times per week. Post-training assignment will follow regular deployment guidelines.

Job Description

Looking for a seasoned Java warrior who can build, optimize, and scale enterprise-grade applications. This role calls for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, collaborates like a champ, and knows how to ship clean, robust code that doesn't cry in production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and various integration points
  • Implement authentication and security best practices across services
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for efficient deployment and scaling
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and architectural discussions
  • Document system components and ensure alignment with best engineering practices
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and DevOps processes

Qualifications

  • Proven experience building enterprise applications using Java Spring/Spring Boot
  • Strong understanding of API development and integration
  • Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Proficiency in containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SAML, etc.)
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (React, Angular, or ) is a strong plus
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently or within a team
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to mentor junior developers

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 18 months

Pay: Up to Php93,000.00 per month
