About The Role
PDAX is looking for a Junior Trader for Crypto and FX Trading who will help manage OTC and foreign exchange trading operations to optimize profitability, ensure liquidity, and manage currency and crypto risk. This role is critical to PDAX's crypto markets trading desk and specifically to the Treasury OTC product which includes servicing Prime customer trades via voice chat trading channels. This role's day-to-day objective is to price & service client trading flows and manage the residual risk arising from crypto-fiat, fiat-fiat, and crypto-crypto trades, playing a pivotal part in ensuring market, liquidity, and credit risk is managed appropriately.

General Responsibilities

• Quote OTC trades to customers in various cryptocurrency cross pairs, ensuring market pricing competitiveness and profitability while managing risk appropriately.
• Monitor PDAX market-maker pricing and analyze market movements and trends to inform pricing strategies and hedging positions.
• Manage crypto inventory and liquidity across fiat accounts (PHP, USD, etc.) to support customer transactions and treasury operations.
• Analyze spreads, pricing, and arbitrage opportunities across exchanges (e.g., local banks, OTC desks, crypto exchanges).
• Ensure compliance with BSP and AML regulations related to FX operations.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams within PDAX such as BD, Product and Compliance to ensure the success of the trading product.
• Prepare and present daily/weekly trade reports, P&L summaries, and risk analysis to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in financial markets in sell-side sales and/or trading roles in OTC trading, treasury, or market-making, preferably in fintech, crypto, or banking.
• Familiarity with institutional market sales is an advantage.
• Familiarity with crypto markets, stablecoins, and fiat on/off ramps is a strong advantage.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or similar market tools.
