Role Description

This is a contract-based remote role for a Chief Cook. The Chief Cook will be responsible for managing all aspects of meal preparation, including planning, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in a professional setting. Daily tasks involve creating menus, supervising food safety standards, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with dietary and nutritional guidelines. The Chief Cook will also oversee kitchen operations and collaborate with team members to provide exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Menu Planning, Cooking, and Food Presentation
  • Strong knowledge of Food Safety, Hygiene Standards, and Nutritional Guidelines
  • Experience in Kitchen Operations, Inventory Management, and Team Supervision
  • Organizational and Time Management skills for coordinating kitchen activities efficiently
  • Creative Problem-Solving and Adaptability in meeting varying culinary needs
  • Culinary degree or certification is a plus
  • Experience in catering or maritime environments is advantageous
