Position Overview

MINT College is seeking a compassionate, forward-thinking School Nurse to serve our community of creative and technology-focused students. This position requires someone who understands that today's generation navigates unique mental health challenges, neurodiversity, and the pressures of pursuing creative and entrepreneurial paths. You will be the primary healthcare advocate for student ages 16 to 23, many of whom are exploring their identities, managing academic stress, and balancing creative expression with practical career preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first aid, emergency care, and routine health services to students, faculty and staff
  • Assess, prioritize, and manage acute and chronic health conditions
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate health records in compliance with Philippine healthcare standards
  • Coordinate care with parents/guardians, external healthcare providers, and specialists
  • Manage the school clinic operations, supplies, and medical equipment
  • Develop and implement individual healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions
  • Provide crisis intervention and appropriate referrals to mental health professionals
  • Collaborate with guidance counselors and faculty to create a supportive environment
  • Demonstrate understanding and acceptance of neurodivergent students (ADHD, autism spectrum, dyslexia, anxiety disorders, etc.)

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Licensed Nurse
    registered with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) of the Philippines
  • Experience in school health, adolescent/young adult care preferred

Competencies

  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Competence in emergency response and crisis management
  • Knowledge of adolescent and young adult health issues
  • Understanding of mental health first aid principles
  • Understanding of neurodivergent experiences and support needs

Salary Range: Php21,000 - P25,000/mo.
