Associate Lawyer

Estrada & Aquino Law is looking for an Associate Lawyers to add to its roster who shall undertake the following duties and responsibilities:
- Research and analyze the law on complex issues and writing briefs, memoranda, pleadings, letter, and other documents for submission to the supervising lawyer;
- Analyze and summarize complicated legal documents, including contracts, and suggest alterations to those documents;
- Perform data gathering and case building in preparation for litigation;
- Perform due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and incorporation documents;
- Meet with clients and understand the issues for possible actions and remedies;
- Attend to corporate and representative clients;
- Diligently prepare for trials, hearings and participate in all legal proceedings;
- Update clients regularly on hearings, meetings, and other developments;
- Provide general legal guidance and support;
- Conduct thorough research and gather all information relevant to a case; and
- Strictly adhere to the attorney-client privilege.
Requirements
Candidate must possess the following:
- Member of the Philippine Bar
- At least 1 year work experience in related field preferably in a law firm;
- Persuasive communication skills and proficiency in English;
- Ability to comprehend complex matters and identify applicable laws and jurisprudence;
- Exceptional organization and time management skills; and
- Ability to handle high caseloads;
- Must be willing to work in Taguig area;
