As a
Senior Consultant
, you own solution delivery from discovery to go-live while mentoring junior model builders. You will shape the roadmap, architect Anaplan models, orchestrate complex data integrations, and advise finance leaders on best-in-class planning and treasury processes. Your work turns disconnected spreadsheets into real-time, driver-based decision platforms that power data-driven insights and decision-making.

Focus Area / What You'll Lead:

  • Engagement Leadership & Governance
  • Define project scope, phases, milestones, and resource plans.
  • Manage stakeholder alignment, risk registers, and change control.
  • Run agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint reviews, retros).
  • Solution Architecture
  • Translate strategic objectives into scalable model blueprints (DISCO, PLANS).
  • Design end-to-end EPM data flows, hierarchies, and security models.
  • Select & orchestrate integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Workato, REST APIs).
  • Hands-On Model Development
  • Build/optimize multi-app Anaplan ecosystems—complex calculations, ALM, dynamic reporting, UX pages.
  • Drive performance tuning, data sparsity optimization, and model hygiene.
  • Data Integration & Quality
  • Architect robust ETL pipelines pulling from ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), treasury, HRIS, and BI platforms.
  • Implement automated validation, reconciliation, and audit controls.
  • Testing & Deployment Excellence
  • Oversee unit, SIT, and UAT cycles; design test scripts and defect triage processes.
  • Lead cut-over planning, hyper-care, and adoption tracking.
  • Client Enablement & Advisory
  • Deliver executive-level workshops on target operating models and value realization.
  • Train finance & supply-chain teams, develop playbooks, and embed continuous-improvement culture.
  • Practice & People Development
  • Mentor junior consultants; review model code, share best practices.
  • Contribute to accelerators, reusable templates, and thought-leadership whitepapers.

Must-Have:

  • 5+ years total experience; 3+ years leading Anaplan or comparable EPM implementations.
  • Proven ownership of multi-workstream projects in FP&A, supply chain, treasury, or consolidation.
  • Solid understanding of finance processes (budgeting, rolling forecast, cash flow, FX risk, working capital).
  • Hands-on data integration & ETL know-how (flat files, APIs, SQL).
  • Strong consulting toolkit: requirement facilitation, storytelling, executive presentation, risk management.
  • Leadership & coaching mindset; ability to guide diverse teams across cultures.
  • Willingness to travel / adjust hours to meet critical client deadlines.

Preferred / Differentiators:

  • Anaplan Certified Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner.
  • Cross-platform EPM expertise (SAP SAC, Oracle FCCS/PBCS, OneStream, Planful).
  • Exposure to PFRS / GAAP consolidation, transfer-pricing, or tax provisioning.
  • Experience with integration platforms (Informatica, Workato, Dell Boomi) or cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Familiarity with Python, R, or VBA for advanced analytics/automation.
  • Industry specialization (e.g., financial services, CPG, manufacturing, healthcare).
  • Growth and continuous learning mindset.
