About the Role

As an Intercompany Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions between our different corporate entities. You will ensure all intercompany balances are accurately recorded, reconciled, and properly eliminated for consolidated reporting. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple subsidiaries or departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and Monitor Intercompany Transactions: Accurately record sales, services, loans, and cost-sharing transactions between group entities.
  • Reconcile Intercompany Balances: Identify and resolve discrepancies between entity accounts, ensuring that all balances match across subsidiaries.
  • Prepare Consolidation Adjustments: Eliminate intercompany revenues, expenses, and balances to support consolidated financial statements.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate intercompany reports, summaries, and analyses to provide management with insight on intra-group financial activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in intercompany accounting operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to intercompany transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, consolidation rules, and intercompany reconciliation processes.
  • Attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with multiple internal teams or external auditors.
