Position: BEAUTY TRAINER
Job Summary:
The Beauty Trainer is responsible for the overall learning and development of Sales and Beauty Consultants of Hermès Perfume and Beauty. Leads the implementation of different training programs related to the product, technical skills, and customer service to drive sales and client satisfaction, and to maintain the standards of the brand.
Duties and Responsibilities:
I. Learning and Development
Convey high-standard product knowledge and selling skills to the Store Operations team to maximize all sales opportunities for fragrances and cosmetics.
Deliver expert makeup applications and excellent customer service at all times, and ensure a positive and personalized experience that exceeds their expectations.
Represent the local market for the Train-the-Trainer sessions and seminars for new products, gestures, novelties, methods, and industry trends.
Act as the liaison between the brand and the local staff, ensuring that all information regarding products, techniques, and procedures is communicated effectively through training sessions, team meetings, briefings, and other suitable methods.
Create training plans for the year in collaboration with the Regional Team and develop comprehensive training programs for the brand's products based on the regional team's guidelines, ensuring that all necessary topics are covered, and the training plan aligns with the brand's objectives.
Lead training sessions to introduce and educate the staff on new product launches, ensure thorough understanding of the features, benefits, and application techniques, and organize workshops to enhance their skills.
Facilitates brand induction training for new hires before their deployment to their respective locations.
Perform training logistic and administrative tasks to ensure all L&D resources are available and coordinate with the Ambassador for any additional requirements.
Forecast training gifts to be given to staff members and seek approval regarding the issuance of training gifts.
Provide counter coaching to the team, offer guidance and support, and give regular feedback to help them improve their selling techniques and product knowledge.
Visit different counters to assess compliance with brand guidelines, and guide the team to ensure all procedures, techniques, and grooming standards are adhered to.
Assess the team's performance and progress, providing constructive feedback on areas of improvement and recognizing achievements to identify opportunities for growth and development.
Establish and maintain open lines of communication with the regional training team, seeking guidance, updates, and support as necessary.
Participate in the recruitment process together with the Ambassador to ensure the candidate's experience and skills are aligned with the hiring requirements.
II. Store Operations
Generate comprehensive reports detailing the performance and reception of new product launches to track their success and provide valuable insights for future improvements.
Keep the staff profile up-to-date and reflect changes in case of new hires, employee movement, and separation.
Ensure that counters follow the correct point of sale (POS) guidelines to maintain consistency and professionalism.
Manage the uniform order and ensure that the correct uniforms are provided to staff members.
Assist in local sourcing of hygiene tools for the counter and ensure compliance with brand specifications.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· A graduate of Bachelor's degree in any field
· Has 2-5 years of relevant experience in beauty, fragrance or luxury retail, with a proven track record of training, coaching, or developing talent
· Skilled in designing training programs and developing creative and interactive learning tools
·Deep passion for luxury beauty and fragrance, with thorough product knowledge and a strong sense of brand heritage and client experience
·Highly organized, detail-oriented, with solid team and project management skills
·Experience or certification in professional makeup application is a plus
