About the role

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and have a keen eye for detail? We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cashier to join our team at Sajang Chicken San Juan in San Juan City Metro Manila. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing a seamless checkout experience, and ensuring the efficient operation of our store. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and assisting customers at the checkout counter
  2. Accurately processing cash, credit, and debit transactions
  3. Handling and balancing cash drawers
  4. Maintaining a clean and organised checkout area
  5. Providing excellent customer service and resolving any customer inquiries or concerns
  6. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  7. Collaborating with the wider retail team to support the smooth operation of the store

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role
  2. Strong numerical and math skills to accurately handle cash and reconcile transactions
  3. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
  4. Friendly, approachable, and committed to providing outstanding customer service
  5. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  6. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems or the ability to learn quickly
  7. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company
