About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at McKenzie Distribution Company, Inc. in our Deparo Caloocan City Metro Manila location. This is a full-time opportunity to lead and oversee our engineering operations, driving efficiency and innovation within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, support and opportunities for professional development
  • Oversee the design, development and implementation of new engineering projects and initiatives
  • Ensure all engineering activities adhere to safety standards, quality control measures and budgetary requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve engineering-related issues
  • Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to optimize engineering processes and implement new technologies
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate engineering performance and recommendations to senior leadership

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in an engineering management role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing engineering teams
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance technical and business requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of engineering best practices, regulations and emerging technologies
