About the role

We're seeking a talented Accountant to join the dynamic team at Fortified rice resources, inc' in our Makati City Metro Manila office. As an Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and accuracy of our operations. This is a full-time position with excellent career development opportunities.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar financial accounting role, preferably in the Accounting industry
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, procedures, and reporting standards
  • Proficient in using financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
