Job Description:

A Contracts Electrical Engineer is responsible for managing electrical and auxiliary work packages, handling bids, negotiating cost savings, and preparing purchase orders and contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing purchase orders, bids, and contracts for electrical engineering services and materials.
  • Coordinate with project managers, electrical engineers, and suppliers to ensure contract compliance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report on contract performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives and strategies.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, or preferably Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
  • At least two years of experience in bidding, purchasing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with purchasing software is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other purchasing software.
