- Source and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Request, review, and compare quotations to determine the most advantageous offers in terms of price, quality, and delivery time.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure proper documentation of all procurement transactions.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, product availability, and payment terms.
- Monitor and follow up pending orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain an updated record of supplier information, price lists, and purchase transactions.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and new materials.
- Coordinate with the accounting department for payment processing and documentation.
- Ensure all purchases comply with company budget and procurement policies.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to purchasing activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance.
- Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (construction or manufacturing industry experience is an advantage).
- Knowledge of purchasing procedures, cost analysis, and supplier management.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and familiar with inventory or procurement systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Can work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
