GFP Architects is looking for a motivated professional to join our Specs / Research and Development (R&D) Department.

  • Licensed Architect
  • Learn and apply specswriting and other R&D activities in compliance with the firm's requirements
  • Review and Interpret drawings and other project requirements in order to assist in writing and editing required specifications
  • Coordinate compliance of required specifications with project requirements, standards, codes, rules and regulations
  • Assist in evaluating bid and construction submittals
  • Be a productive and cooperative member of the R&D group

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Willing to be trained in Architectural/ID Specifications Writing, Evaluating bid and construction submittals, and Finish Hardware Schedule, and other R&D activities.
  • Knowledgeable of MS Office, ArchiCad/AutoCad, Sketchup and Photoshop
