Parts Warehouseman Job Description
Position Overview:
The Parts Warehouseman is responsible for efficiently receiving, storing, and distributing automotive parts and supplies within a warehouse or distribution center. This role ensures accurate inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and the maintenance of a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive, unload, and inspect incoming automotive parts and supplies for accuracy and quality.Store parts in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper labeling and organization.Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer or internal requirements.Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in cycle counting to ensure stock accuracy.Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.Ensure the warehouse area is clean, safe, and compliant with company policies and safety regulations.Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing, sales, and logistics to coordinate inventory needs and deliveries.Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to supervisors promptly.Qualifications:College graduatePrevious warehouse or automotive parts handling experience preferred.Familiarity with warehouse management software and basic computer skills.Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification a plus).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.Good communication and teamwork skills.
