Project Nurse

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Examine and check employees' vital signs or provide daily consultation to all employees on site as necessary. Thus, evaluate any health-related concerns, medical records, and any form of medication of workers and admin employees. Further, health advice is elucidated after the evaluation or check- up
• Attend on worker's health and condition queries, and document all injury and illness attained nor pre- existing in or out the workplace. Likewise, keep all information confidential to monitor or record for reference.
• Assist employees in hospital needs and requirements and over-the-counter medication. Thus, coordinate with local government units to follow up employees mandated benefits related to the obtained injury or accident during working hours or within the vicinity of the workplace.
• Monitor employees at risk of developing serious complications of any pre-existing diseases such as heart, respiratory, endocrine, and kidney concerns.
• Coordinate with HSE Manager in determining and attending to incident reports that require immediate medical attention in the instance of any life-threatening situation in the workplace. Thus, report to the HSE Manager or any HR Personnel before any health-related concern of any employees that would compromise the safety and security in the workplace
• Participate in safety inspections in the workplace to ensure the protection of the employees. Attend daily exercises and conduct health talks in general toolbox meetings.
• Deliver health-related topics during toolbox, implement health programs, orient and raise awareness in line with health courses and develop a training plan that will engage and encourage employees to follow health protocols and programs of the company.
• Develop and implement OSH Procedures & Safety Plan together with Safety Officers at the project site. Improve Safety and Health programs in the workplace.
• Performs related duties and projects as assigned.
• Active member of the Emergency Response Team and coordinate necessary improvement on guidelines / procedures including inspection of necessary rescue equipment's / aids to ensure effectiveness of the procedure.
• Monitor inventory of medicines and medical equipment's ensuring readily available and in good working condition.
• In an event the project nurse is to report for work to respond to emergency and in other cases requiring medical attention / assistance as required by the nature of work he/she shall be compensated in accordance with the pertinent provisions of the Labor Code.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Must have a valid PRC License
• With OHNAP training certificate
