Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Disbursement Voucher Processing:
  • Process Disbursement Vouchers with complete supporting documents and file them accordingly.
  • Financial Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger functions.
  • Record day-to-day transactions.
  • Ensure the integrity of the business's finances through accurate bookkeeping.
  • Reconciliation and Auditing:
  • Reconcile accounts with the general ledger.
  • Assist with external audits.
  • Tax Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including timely filing and payment of all corporate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and supporting schedules.
  • Handle tax-related documentation such as Value Added Tax (VAT), withholding tax, income tax, final tax, Documentary Stamp Tax (DST), and other returns that arise during the course of business.
  • Provide assistance with BIR examinations and other special projects.
  • Other Duties:
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Generate online forms for the payment of employees' contributions and loans to SSS, PHIC, and HDMF.
  • Respond to letters and notices from BIR, SSS, PHIC, HDMF, and LGUs.
  • Prepare and submit documents for the renewal of business permits.
  • Coordinate with the Corporate Secretary and company lawyers for legal compliance when needed.
  • Act as a liaison when needed between banks, external partners, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a finance, treasury, or accounting role
  • Basic understanding of cash management and financial transactions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
