What is the job?

The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for supporting the operational and data management functions within the alternative investments team. This includes managing investment-related documents, maintaining transaction data, and ensuring accurate and organized record-keeping.

Responsibilities:

  • Download, organize, and rename files.
  • Maintain a clean, well-structured document management system to ensure accuracy and easy retrieval.
  • Create, circulate, and monitor Letters of Authorization (LOAs).
  • Enter and reconcile transaction-level investment data in Excel, maintaining accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and escalate any system errors or data inconsistencies to the client-facing team and/or team lead.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in technology, software tools, and applications (especially Excel).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy in data handling, documentation, and record-keeping.
  • Detail-oriented, consistently checking work for errors to maintain accuracy.
  • Experienced in handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of data entry experience with a stable employment history.
