Lending Product Ownership: Take ownership of the end-to-end product management of current and future

SME lending offers.

  • Define and own the end-to-end SME lending product strategy and roadmap
  • Establish pricing, value propositions, and product bundles, ensuring alignment with customer pain points and market demand.
  • Drive profitable growth by owning the P&L and collaborate with other stakeholders for pricing models, profitability, provisioning and risk-return models.
  • Cross-function to scout, initiate and manage strategic partnerships for SME lending (e.g., alternative data credit providers, embedded finance platforms, payment gateways, e-commerce platforms, supply- chain ecosystem and business associations).
  • Lead key strategic initiatives by conducting regular market, industry and segment benchmarking to stay competitive relative to offers & opportunities including regulatory changes and risks.
  • Up-scale the business with promos and campaigns. Lead the creation of go-to-market strategy, product messaging, user flows and internal decks with Marketing team.
  • Coordinate with the Bank's other units and appropriate Government bodies to ensure competitive, innovative, legal & regulatory compliant and efficient products and processes.
  • Manage tactical enhancements, process refinements and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with SME Business Development Manager and SME Product Manager for Deposit & other products to provide bespoke and well-rounded offer to clients.
  • Collaborate on onboarding, integration, and joint go-to-market efforts.

Lending Product Development: Manage the execution of lending features and enhancements of current and future SME lending offers.

  • Create, develop and deliver competitive, innovative and new SME lending product propositions.
  • Translate strategy into actionable requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation (e.g., BRD, PRD, other technical requirements)
  • Prioritize development tasks based on customer impact, value delivery, risk, compliance considerations and technical feasibility & dependencies.
  • Partner with technology team to build and launch core lending components such as payment gateways, credit score engines, disbursement flows, repayment logic and API integration
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, grooming, UAT, CUG, and go-lives.
  • Cross-function with other stakeholders to ensure competitive, innovative, legal & regulatory compliant
  • and efficient products and processes.
  • Coordinate with the Bank's other units and related Government agencies to ensure our lending systems deliver a seamless, compliant and scalable user experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (Post-graduate in related field is a plus)
  • 8-10 years experience in Philippine MSME lending with
  • 5 year experience in lending product creation & management and
  • 3 year experience in lending product tech/agile/scrum role
  • Experience in partnership negotiation and marketing/GTMs a big plus
  • Deep understanding of segment needs and behaviour.
  • Familiarity with Philippine MSME Banking regulatory compliance practices such as BSP notification, regulations, provisioning, data privacy, SBLAF, SFTG, etc.
  • Strong technical understanding of credit products, APIs, and agile methodologies
  • Finance, risk & credit literacy: profitability, IRR, credit scoring, risk model

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php130, Php150,000.00 per month
