As a Compliance Monitoring Associate within the Governance function, you will support the International Compliance Monitoring Manager and Compliance Monitoring Officers in delivering Entain's global monitoring framework. You will receive day-to-day guidance from Compliance Monitoring Officers to assist in conducting reviews and maintaining oversight across key business functions, specifically to Entain's Compliance Monitoring function as part of a wider Compliance Management System.

This entry-level role will involve working closely with the International Compliance teams as well as business and commercial teams across the Group to ensure processes and procedures are followed, policy documents are updated, and accurate records are maintained.

You will be responsible for supporting the compliance team, specifically in monitoring compliance with international gambling regulations. This includes monitoring processes and procedures designed to meet all compliance requirements across multiple business areas. You will be responsible for conducting compliance monitoring activities based on a designed plan of action, maintaining and updating records, producing periodic reporting based on the monitoring activity, and liaising with other stakeholders across the business to support ongoing projects.

You will be expected to have a detailed knowledge of the Compliance and Regulatory landscape and have the capability to identify areas of non-compliance and report accordingly.

You will be asked to contribute to the continuous improvement of Governance processes to support more effective, efficient delivery of Governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Compliance Monitoring Manager and other Compliance Monitoring Officers to support the Compliance Monitoring function.
• Conduct relevant activities in relation to the Compliance Monitoring plan. This will include a range of topics that include Customer reviews, Marketing checks, and compliance dashboard management
• Maintain accurate records of reviews conducted and deliver results and analysis to the Compliance Monitoring Manager and Compliance Monitoring Officers.
• Highlight instances of non-compliance as part of the monitoring process and record actions and decisions taken.
• Follow up and keep track of due dates, actions, and required timelines to ensure timely completion of requirements.

Required Skills, Knowledge, Experience

• A self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to learning and task execution.
• Knowledge of international gambling compliance and regulatory environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Internal Audit and Risk Management methodology is desirable.
• Compliance qualification and equivalent related work experience are desirable.
• Prior experience in a role within a regulated industry is desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to deliver messages clearly, confidently, and professionally at all levels in the English language.
• A team player who shows respect and values the views of others.
• Demonstrate a flexible approach, always willing to support various areas of the team workload and prioritize accordingly.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic data tools such as PowerBI.
