Mama Lou's Group is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Officer to join our growing Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts reconciliation, financial reporting, and compliance with internal controls and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and schedules
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Monitor and reconcile bank statements and ledgers
  • Ensure timely filing of BIR tax returns (e.g., VAT, EWT, Income Tax)
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Support audit preparation and coordination
  • Maintain compliance with accounting policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with suppliers, branches, and other departments for financial concerns

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and government compliance (BIR regulations)
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.)
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPA license is an advantage but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php30,000.00 per month
