Role Description

The Finance Specialist supports the efficient and compliant financial operations of the Foundation by preparing accurate financial reports, processing transactions, conducting reconciliations, and assisting in audits. This role provides financial insights to project and department heads, ensures adherence to organizational policies and donor requirements, and contributes to the effective management of resources in line with Haribon's mission and strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in accounting, financial management, or budgeting, preferably in a non-profit environment.
  • Knowledge of non-profit accounting principles and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks), MS Office, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites when necessary.
  • Commitment to environmental conservation and familiarity with environmental issues is an advantage.
