The Product Management Assistant reports to the Product Management Lead and shares the responsibility of the Product Management Head for the product development and management of the insurance product lines. This responsibility includes supporting the revenue growth goals by providing competitive and relevant products and service while minimizing the time to market.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. To develop and manage the life cycle of life Insurance products

  2. Assist the Product Management Head and Manager in coordinating with various distribution channels and business support units and other relevant units in ensuring effective execution of initiatives of Product Management

  3. Work with the Product Management Head and Manager in collaborating with Marketing and other relevant functions to define product positioning and identify target markets as well as to implement and manage product promotions

  4. Work with the Product Management Head and Manager to assess market competition by comparing Pioneer's product to competitors' products

  5. Assist the Product Management Head and Manager in evaluating existing product lines and recommend product continuance, discontinuance and/or enhancements

  6. Provide reports and regular updates on product development efforts and product sales experience to key stakeholders

  7. Assist the Product Management Head and Manager in measuring and enhancing the performance, competitiveness, and profitability of current product line

  8. Assist the Product Management Head and Manager in identifying new product opportunities based on information from stakeholders, industry research, internal experience, and feedback from agents and customers

10.Assist the Product Management head and manager with assigned adhoc projects.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing, Business, or any relevant course

  2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, but at least a years' experience in the life insurance industry or any relevant experience is a plus

  3. Strong project planning, people coordination skills, financial and analytical skills, and attention to detail

  4. Good oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization

  5. Strong research skills and resourcefulness in acquiring industry and competitor information

6.Ability to navigate at work to accomplish the project.
