About the Role

  • We're looking for a
    Technical Analyst
    with strong analytical skills and a solid development background to support niche applications for New Zealand project. This role is perfect for someone who can bridge business and technical teams, communicate effectively, and deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a technical SME for niche applications, ensuring smooth delivery of solutions.
  • Gather and document requirements, create technical flow diagrams, and UI mock-ups.
  • Collaborate with developers, solution architects, and product managers to fill technical gaps.
  • Perform data analysis and mapping, and support deployments and testing activities.
  • Work closely with Agile teams and offshore colleagues to meet project goals.
  • Provide application support and help reduce technical debt.

What We're Looking For

Primary Skills

  • Development background or prior experience as a Technical Analyst is required.
  • Strong experience with MongoDB (preferred).
  • If no MongoDB experience as long willing to be trained and having solid knowledge of SQL or other databases is acceptable.
  • Understanding of APIs, data flows, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with modern software development languages and lifecycles.

Additional Skills

  • Experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence) and QA/test management.
  • Experience to Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and DevOps environments.
  • Ability to create technical requirements, flow charts, and acceptance criteria.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication skills – able to influence and manage stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-starter with good time management and flexibility to work under pressure.
