JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the day-to-day management and achievement of the sales of a department including its customer service, shrinkage and security control, merchandise display and product knowledge, housekeeping, business analysis, and policies and reports.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. SALES

· Achieves sales target in a specified period of time.

· Ensures proper maintenance of merchandise based on standards.

· Ensures that excellent customer service is rendered by the department at all times.

· Ensures that quality products are displayed in the department.

· Ensures that the department observes good housekeeping at all times and maintains the clean and fresh standards.

· Implements promotional activities and evaluates its impact to department sales.

· Gathers, analyzes, and develops customer service initiatives to address customer feedback and concerns.

  1. MERCHANDISING

· Ensures 100% Customer Service Level (CSL) on the selling floor.

· Monitors and coordinates with suppliers regarding status of deliveries.

· Ensures the efficient monitoring and analysis of stocks replenishment details.

  1. OPERATIONS

· Maintains proper handling of merchandise to avoid shrinkage and pilferage.

· Suggests projects and activities that will help generate or improve sales of the department.

· Rechecks prices on items displayed in the department. 4. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

· Supervises and ensures the training of all selling personal–inside and outside–on customer service.

· Ensures proper implementation of Offenses Subject to Disciplinary Action (OSDA) and company rules to all direct reports.

  1. REPORTORIAL REQUIREMENTS

· Prepares the following reports: - CSL Report (top 500 Stock Keeping Units). - Sales Analysis of the Department (Based on Business Review Requirements). - Analysis of Category Promo Implemented in the Department. - Summary of Manpower Attendance with Overtime.

· Performs other functions as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
