About the role

Stile Italia Inc. is seeking a talented CAD Designer to join our growing team in our Makati City office. As a CAD Designer, you will play a crucial role in transforming conceptual designs into detailed 3D models for our innovative furniture and home décor products. This is a full-time position, offering opportunities for career growth and development within our dynamic and collaborative design studio.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop 3D CAD models and technical drawings of new product designs using industry-standard CAD software
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production teams to ensure the feasibility and manufacturability of designs
  • Optimise designs for efficient production, cost-effectiveness, and material usage
  • Maintain a comprehensive digital library of product designs and technical specifications
  • Support the iterative design process by making revisions and modifications to existing designs
  • Assist with the creation of photorealistic renderings and visual presentations for client and stakeholder meetings

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in CAD design, preferably in the furniture or home décor industry
  • Proficient in 3D CAD and design software including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Revit, SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion, and Enscape for modeling and rendering.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and design for manufacturing principles
  • Excellent technical drawing and visualisation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for design
