As a CAD Specialist at DB&B, you will create accurate CAD drawings and SketchUp Layout plans, ensuring designs are feasible, compliant with regulations, and clearly communicated to stakeholders.

Job Scope:

  • Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, sections and other technical drawings using CAD software to support interior design projects.
  • Prepare technical specifications and documentations to accompany design drawings, including material specifications, finishes and installation.
  • Work closely with the interior designers and project team to understand design requirements and translate them into CAD drawings.
  • Utilise CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp Layout or other relevant programs to create and manage design documents.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial interior design experience with a minimum diploma in Interior Design or related field.
  • Proficient in CAD and SketchUp Layout software and a strong understanding of drafting techniques and interior design principles.
  • High level of attention to details to ensure accuracy and precision in all drawings and documentations.
  • Able to interpret and translate design concepts into technical drawings.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues related to design and drafting, ensuring that solutions meet project requirements.
