FINANCE SUPERVISOR (CPA)

Head Office – Mandaluyong City

Handles: Southern Star Aggregates, Inc. & Planters Aggregates, Inc.

Southern Star Aggregates, Inc. is looking for a Finance Supervisor to oversee the full cycle of accounting and finance operations for both our plants—Southern Star Aggregates, Inc. and Planters Aggregates, Inc.—while being based at our Head Office in Mandaluyong City.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • With at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and budget monitoring
  • Experience in plant operations and cost accounting is an advantage
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in accounting systems and MS Office (especially Excel)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day accounting transactions of both Southern Star and Planters Aggregates plants
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports
  • Monitor cost and budget performance of both plants
  • Coordinate with plant-based accounting teams for data validation and reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and other regulatory requirements
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Assist in financial audits and internal controls implementation
  • Provide management with financial analysis and insights for decision-making

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • Account reconciliation: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Accounts payable: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Accounts receivable: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • CPA (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
