The Finance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the finance team in achieving departmental goals. This role supervises accounting staff, monitors financial transactions, and helps in preparing budgets, forecasts, and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the finance and accounting team in day-to-day tasks including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

  • Monitor and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions and accounting entries.

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.

  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and government reporting requirements (e.g., BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).

  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.

  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely submission of audit requirements.

  • Improve and implement financial processes and internal controls.

  • Manage cash flow and prepare financial forecasts.

  • Provide training and guidance to junior finance staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field

  • CPA license is preferred but not required

  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance

  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and MS Excel

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and leadership skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
