Position Overview

The Web Content & Support Specialist will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our Client's digital presence. This position is responsible for updating website content, supporting editors with visuals, and assisting developers by handling routine maintenance and light technical tasks. The role requires strong attention to detail to ensure all web content is accurate, well-formatted, and visually consistent.

In addition to core website management responsibilities, the specialist will provide ad hoc web-related support, ensuring timely solutions to digital publishing needs. Familiarity with HTML/CSS, WordPress, and image editing tools is essential, while experience with AI-assisted coding tools is preferred.

This position is well-suited for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to support both editorial and technical teams to ensure a seamless, engaging online experience for the client's audience.

Key Responsibilities:

● Website Content Updates & Maintenance:

  • Post and update content on Wells Media websites using WordPress and related tools.

  • Ensure formatting, hyperlinks, and layouts meet quality and editorial standards.

  • Assist with HTML editing when needed.

● Media & Visual Support:

  • Work with editors to incorporate images, charts, or graphics into articles.

  • Format visuals for web presentation to ensure clarity and consistency.

● Developer Support Tasks:

  • Offload day-to-day maintenance and non-core development tasks from internal developers.

  • Support website functionality checks and small technical fixes.

  • Assist in testing and implementing light updates as directed. SCOPE OF WORK

● AI & Coding Assistance (Preferred, Not Required):

  • Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to streamline web maintenance and small-scale development tasks.

  • Suggest efficiency improvements based on AI-supported solutions.

● Ad hoc Web-related Support:

  • Take on ad hoc web-related assignments as they arise.

  • Provide a responsive, reliable resource for ongoing digital publishing needs Experience managing websites on WordPress (required).

QUALIFICATIONS :

● Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and web formatting (required).

● Familiarity with image editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, or similar).

● Strong attention to detail, with ability to ensure content displays cleanly and accurately.

● Ability to collaborate with developers and editors effectively.

● Preferred: Familiarity with AI coding tools and willingness to apply them to workflows.
