We are looking for a highly experienced Medical Assistant (Remote) to support our care operations through chat-based patient communication and administrative coordination. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth experience for both patients and physicians, allowing doctors to focus on delivering care while you manage the operational details behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Support (Chat-Based):
    Respond to patient inquiries through our chat-based ticketing system in a timely, professional, and empathetic manner.
  • Patient Communication:
    Draft and send patient-facing messages, including appointment-related updates, follow-ups, and general care-related information.
  • Care Coordination:
    Support physicians by handling non-clinical questions, routing issues appropriately, and ensuring tickets are resolved efficiently.
  • Pharmacy & Office Follow-Ups:
    Make outbound follow-ups to pharmacies and external healthcare offices as needed to support prescriptions, documentation, or coordination of care.
  • Administrative Support:
    Maintain accurate records, track requests, and help ensure smooth day-to-day telehealth operations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a virtual assistant, medical assistant, or healthcare administrative role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Medical Sciences, or a closely related healthcare field is required.
  • Comfortable handling non-clinical medical questions and patient coordination tasks.
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology is a strong plus.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and adapt to evolving workflows.
  • Able and willing to work U.S. business hours.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage time effectively in a fully remote setting.
  • Professional, patient-focused attitude with a strong customer service mindset.
